Does Recovery Boots work

1. Who can benefit from using Recovery Boots?

Whether you are a top athlete or train a few days a week, you can benefit from using Optima Sport Recovery Boots. This means you can enjoy the boots whether you are training for your first half-marathon or you are a top-level athlete.

Recovery Boots will help you:

  • Save time on active recovery.
  • Train harder more often.
  • Avoid heavy legs the days after a hard training session.
  • Prevent or shorten injury time.

2. How do Recovery Boots work?

When you wear the boots, the venous fluid is pressed back, leading to increased blood circulation. This provides oxygen and nutrients to your muscles and helps restore damaged tissues.

The treatment is comfortable and relaxing, and is completely risk-free with no side effects. You have several options to choose a treatment that suits you, by either selecting the program, time, and the pressure level in the boots.

3. How many air chambers should I choose (4C, 6C, 8C, or 12C)?

We offer three types of boots to choose from. The boots have either 4 chambers, 6 chambers, 8 chambers, or 12 chambers. Below, you can read about the differences between the various boots.

Base 4C is mainly used for lymphatic drainage. This boot has limited flexibility due to its 4 air chambers that can be turned on and off. Flexibility is especially beneficial in connection with injuries, where you can deactivate the chamber around the injury.

The small chambers in this boot can more easily penetrate the muscles, providing a deeper massage. This boot also offers good flexibility, as you get 8 air chambers that can be activated or deactivated.

Extreme K12 is our top model. The machine allows for a very deep massage and drainage due to the small air chambers that can penetrate deep into the muscles. This boot also provides optimal flexibility, with 8 chambers that can be activated or deactivated. The machine also includes features not available in other models.

5. Should I choose boots or pants?

Optima-Recovery-Boot-ekstra

Whether you should choose boots or pants depends on your needs. Below you can read about the advantages of both products:

Advantages of Recovery Boots:

  • More intense treatment for the legs.
  • Easier to get the machine down to the feet and ankles when using the boots.

Advantages of Recovery Pants:

  • Flexible treatment.
  • Covers a larger area of the body.
  • More comfortable treatment of the lower back.&li>

Most people buy boots for the lower body and pants for the upper body. That way, you get the best of both worlds. If you are primarily interested in treating your legs, we recommend boots.

6. What length should I choose?

The length of the boots is important when choosing Recovery Boots. We offer three lengths of boots: 70 cm, 85 cm, and 100 cm. The right length for you depends on your height and preferences.

Here is a general guideline to help you choose the right length:

  • If you are shorter than 170 cm, the 70 cm boots are generally suitable.
  • If you are between 170 cm and 185 cm, the 85 cm boots are a good choice.
  • If you are taller than 185 cm, the 100 cm boots are recommended.

However, individual preferences may vary, so you can also base your choice on which part of your body you want to focus on. If you primarily want to treat your legs, the 70 cm boots are sufficient. For more coverage and comfort, especially for taller individuals, the longer boots are recommended.
